We are a non-profit organization that provides family support and information to families in North Central Calgary. We are committed to provide educational opportunities and workshops for parents and families as well as helping families find resources in their community. We also assist children and families in fostering social connections.
We are able to meet you and your family and do an intake and assessment to better understand what your family needs and how we can assist you to make sure you have access to the best services and supports so that your family remains strong.
We partner with a number of agencies within the community to provide free activities and programming for families in North Central Calgary. Programs run out of the resource centre are created by needs identified within the community. If you have suggestions about 'things to do' that are of interest to you or your children please let us know.
Our goal is to create an environment of support for all families in the community. We encourage self-empowerment by providing educational programs to support parents and families in finding their own solutions. We believe that community issues are a collective responsibility and results are achieved when we work together in partnerships.
The North Central Family Support Program believes in the development of strong caring communities and strong caring families, each is considered necessary for the development of the other.
We provide a safe environment for all families to have a voice in their community, find support and the assistance they need to move forward.
