Triple P Positive Parenting Program

Triple P is a Positive Parenting Program that promotes good communication and strong relationships between parents and children.

There is several ways to access Triple P parenting depending on parent and child needs. (seminars,1:1 contact, discussion workshops or group)

Parenting awareness and information is shared through a variety of methods and materials: video, tip sheets, workshops and 1:1 parenting information and group experience, as well as a new online program.

Positive parenting in a nutshell:

Level 2: Selected Triple P involves a series of 3 seminars for parents with children birth to 12 years:

  • Power of Positive Parenting
  • Raising Confident, Competent Children
  • Raising Resilient Children

For everyday Problems:

Level 3: Primary Care Triple P

Involves 1:1 contact with a Triple P facilitator working with parents with a specific child's behavior or developmental issue.

Series of 4 sessions focusing on gathering information, role playing, self-evaluation and 1:1 support using a variety of methods:

For common Parenting Problems:

Level 3: Discussion Group

Is a (series of 4 workshops/ 2 hours each) focusing on a specific problem which can be taken as a standalone or a part of a series? Topics are:

  • Dealing with Disobedience
  • Managing Fighting and aggression
  • Developing Good Bedtime Routines
  • Hassel Free Shopping Routines

All you want to know:

Level 4: Group Triple P

This 8 week group is a series of 4 weekly, two-hour long sessions followed by 3 weeks of telephone support and finished off with a final 2 hour wrap-up session. Participants will learn to apply the various Triple P strategies in a broad-range of challenging parenting situations they encounter (both now and in the future). We will start with learning some ways to provide a positive environment in which to parent and move on to ways with which to manage misbehavior.

Triple P Online is ideal for parents who want help managing the ups and downs of raising kids. While Triple P Online' s principles of positive parenting and promoting children's development are ideal for parents of children of all ages, the parenting strategies introduced in the course are most relevant for parents of toddlers, preschoolers and children up to 12 years.

The eight modules are a lively mix of video clips, worksheets and activities. They only take around 30-60 minutes each. Plus you can choose to sign up to receive podcasts, emails and text reminders.

You get a personal password and choose when and where you log on.
